We finally had our first real snow fall of the season this weekend, leaving the ground just covered enough for sledding and slipping. Despite some protest from the bf, I couldn’t resist using the opportunity to pull out my Mallard’s - a pair of high heeled duck boots. Somehow they’re impractically practical.

{vintage sequin top and bracelet; Gap Body long sleeve tee; Forever 21 pants; Steve Madden booties; 80s Purple sunglasses; H&M earrings}

How you can rock those heels in snow is a mystery! I never did that in all my years in NYC!

My rationale was that the heels act as little spikes so I actually have a better grip on the ground haha I’m not entirely sure the bf bought that reasoning either though

Now THIS is a chic, glam snow outfit! Love the heeled booties & the sequin top as the top layer. Gorgeous!
*Thank you SO MUCH for the sweet shout-out on Twitter! It totally made my day :) xo

Enjoying the texture play. We just had our first real snow fall too, though no outfit posts to prove it yet.
