Mini Makeover

Even though this week didn’t go entirely as planned, with the biggest let down by far being not getting to spend any quality time with one of my favorite blogging buddies, Kiley of A Sequin Dress at Breakfast (despite our many, albeit failed, attempts at planning), yesterday’s pampering was well worth the day trip to New York even without the Fashion Night Out festivities.  The team at Arrojo, specifically the talented duo of Olivia and Carrie, brightened up my dull strawberry-blonde locks with a full head of natural looking highlights, and gave my boring, shapeless hair a ton of movement and texture.  I walked out of Arrojo feeling like a bombshell in my slightly scandalous sheer dress I’d reserved specifically for a fun Fashion Week outing such as this.

{H&M sheer dress and matching asymmetrical tank; American Apparel bicycle shorts; Jessica Simpson Pai heels; Forever 21 knot earrings; misc. and vintage bracelets}

A big thank you again to Yanil from The New Yorker Style, Arrojo Studio, and Olivia and Carrie for such an amazing day.  I couldn’t be happier with my mini makeover!
