There was a hint of fall in the air yesterday, which prompted me to break out these brown lace-up booties (also seen here). As much as I hate to see summer go, there’s always a certain level of excitement when the moment comes to start the switch into a new season’s wardrobe. The peek of toe makes this particular pair of footwear perfectly appropriate for the transitional times of year. And with a cotton candy colored skirt and lace trimmed blouse, I was able to begin the shift without completely abandoning warm weather attire.
