I love how a casual outfit can feel that much more pulled together with the addition of a great pair of heels. Even an over-sized army green coat and tomato red denim (last seen here and here) became poised thanks to a pair of pointy metallic heels.

Thanks Cathy! I’d been on the hunt too and actually picked this one up on “super sale” (markdown on top of markdown on top of markdown!) but since it’s a bit baggy it admittedly doesn’t get as much wear as it probably should.

Every now and again I like to play around with a faux bob – tucking my hair into my jacket is the laziest way to do it! I love the idea of shorter hair, but I don’t think I’m brave enough to pull it off; my hair is my security blanket for sure! ;)
