We’re not the type of couple who takes Valentine’s Day too seriously.  There’s no pressure to celebrate with dozens of roses and over-the-top dinners at fancy restaurants, instead we usually head out for an afternoon adventure, maybe a movie or bowling, well before the crowds all decked out in fancy date-night attire hit the town.  Wherever the day leads us, I’ll probably be reaching for this leather jacket (again), a red lip, and, weather permitting, these velvet heels for a hint of pink.  After all, it’s just not Valentine’s Day without a little cliché red and pink.
