Sparkling Birthday

birthdaysparkle_1

For the last two birthdays I’ve been talking about celebrating with a 20s-themed, Gatsby-inspired dinner party.  Last year we just didn’t have the space, and this year our kitchen is still under construction so it unfortunately just didn’t work out.  I’ve been holding onto this beaded, drop-waist dress for over a year now for the prohibition-era styled occasion and I decided yesterday to just cut the tags off, dress it down, and wear it.  After all, birthdays deserve to be celebrated for a week, include plenty of sparkle, and wearing whatever you’d like.
