The Tuxedo Skirt

I put on this tuxedo skirt yesterday morning, knowing without a doubt that I wanted to wear it.  What I didn’t know, was what I was going to wear with it.  My first instinct was to reach for this Karen Kane black bow blouse, which did perfectly finish off the look, but felt slightly too prim.  Luckily I settled on a light mint sweater (to inject a little color) and a faux leather moto vest (to toughen it up a bit) before I completely tore apart my closet.
