A reader reached out asking for ideas on what to wear to an interview besides the usual, boring suit. As someone who has never been a fan of the idea of a dowdy suit, this seemed like the perfect outfit challenge to kick off the new year. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need a suit to pull off a professional look. I think a dress can make a great alternative to a boring pants or skirt suit. Obviously the type of job you’re applying for will determine how conservative you should go, but some safe tips to keep in mind are:
A new year, a new job, and a fresh twist on interview style.
{Calvin Klein dress via HauteLook; A.N.A. jacket via JC Penney; H&M heels (similar from J. Crew); Ray Ban glasses (previously worn here); vintage earrings}
