This is the time of year when the warm summer sun mixes with autumn’s chill and create’s the quintessential sweater weather. I never truly appreciated this time of year until a few year’s ago, viewing sweaters as the itchy, scratchy pieces I tried to keep tucked into the back of my closet, based on an assessment I’d made from the pretty yet uncomfortable sweaters of my youth (sorry mom). Now I yearn for casual and cozy knits that can be thrown with ease on a cool summer evening or at the first fall of leaves.
