Olympic Fever

Although I recorded the opening ceremony’s so the bf and I could enjoy a few hours of summer carnival fun, I have to admit I stayed glued to the Olympic coverage this weekend.  There are sculling races fairly often on the nearby river where we shoot picture regularly, and I can’t say we’ve ever really gone down to watch the action, yet I’ve become fascinated with the event now while watching the Olympic games.  The fluidity and rhythm makes the scullers look so graceful on the water that it’s almost easy to forget how much power and speed is behind each stroke.  I’ve gained a new appreciation for what’s been going on around the corner all summer.  Has anyone else found a new favorite sport during the games?
