I haven’t talked much about it lately, mostly because I didn’t want to get my hopes up too soon, but the bf and I are officially in the process of buying a home. It’s such an exciting and sometimes overwhelming process, and it’s had me surprising myself, spending more time kicking back, leafing through magazines filled with kitchens and baths instead of heels and handbags. It’s amazing how quickly the task of going into a home improvement store on the weekend to compare sink bowls and dishwashers qualifies as something to get giddy over.

Thank you, this was one of the more casual outfits I’ve worn to Home Depot – I thought wedges would be a bit more appropriate than traditional heels. ;)
