Velvet has always been synonymous with the holidays and winter time.  Wearing the fabric seems to instantly bring back memories of the beautiful, velvety dresses reserved for special occasions I’d happily twirl around in as a little girl.  The combination of sequins, velvet and bows seem to perfectly embody the festive spirit, making this a fitting outfit for a holiday party, or in my case, a random Tuesday.
