There was a significant stretch of time, mainly back when I was working in NYC, where dresses were almost exclusively all I would purchase for my wardrobe.  In my opinion, they made the most sense for a girl on a very limited spending budget just starting out in the “real world.”  A sleeve-less style could work year round with the right layering techniques, and instantly become appropriate for any array of events with the aide of accessories.  While I’ve largely transitioned from that mentality and have made strides to round out my closet more, I still turn to those versifying tricks to achieve maximum wear from my favored frocks.

    I love the killer heels with studs. You’re right about dresses, investing in one or two good quality dresses will see you well. I also love that you added the sunglasses as well.

      Thank you! I have two pairs of very similar circular black sunglasses, this pair is the slightly larger of the two, and I always have at least one pair with me at all times. They’re definitely a favorite of mine!

      Thanks! It’s actually a great lace top from Forever 21 but I’m obsessed with layering it under all of my dresses lately
