With quite a few family dinners and get-togethers this week, Thanksgiving included, there are many reasons to get dressed up.  Maxi dresses are often my go-to for an easy, pulled together and comfortable look — perfect for long hours of cooking and eating.  I’ve found throwing a long-sleeved turtleneck underneath quickly makes a summery or formal favorite slightly more casual and weather appropriate.  I even went so far as to pair a turtleneck dress under this particular maxi, leaving me toasty warm despite the damp and dreary weather.
