As much as I enjoy getting glammed up and girlie, I love getting outdoors just as much.  This weekend the bf and I joined some friends to tackle a treetop adventure course of obstacles like rope bridges, zip lines, and zigzag boards, 35 feet in the air.  Of course the rugged risk taking was off-set by a Sunday afternoon of window shopping (and a little real shopping*) in an outfit that seemed to perfectly encompass the balance between brawny and beautiful.  Just tough enough to pay homage to some well-earned sore muscles, but still dainty enough to twirl in.

*The bf indulged in my obsession with sparkle by treating me to the most gorgeous vintage sequin dress.  I can’t wait for the perfect excuse to show it off!
