I threw this outfit on yesterday because I wanted something chic, comfortable and to cover all of my bruises — paintball did a number on me.  It wasn’t until much later in the day when the bf told me he really liked this outfit and asked where it was from that I realized it was almost entirely composed of pieces from Target.  He surprised me by assuming they must be from one of the Target/designer collaborations, because they looked too “luxe”, but no, they’re just regular, everyday Target finds.  The jokingly pseudo-French pronunciation, Tar-jay, suddenly feels much more fitting.

      He really surprised me! He asked me “Who are you wearing today?” because he said he really liked the outfit, and then said, “Oh, so they’re all from one of the designer collaborations?” I guess I should start humoring his tech talk more since he obviously pays at least some attention when I talk fashion.

    I have such an obession with Target. I cannot walk in there & spend less than $100 at any given time. Hence my husband barring me from going there unless its absolutely necessary, ha!

      Oh I am exactly the same way! I try and just steer myself away from the women’s department, fighting the little devil on my shoulder saying, “Just go take a peek, there may be something really cute you’ll regret not trying on.” It’s dangerous!

      Thanks! I really do have to be careful when I go in Target because it’s always way too tempting to start piling things in the cart when all I originally went in for was shampoo!
