Every girl needs a comfy dress-down piece she can indulge in when the heels have been kicked off. I found this surfer-style pullover last weekend at a street fair and have been basically living in it ever since. It’s lined with fleece so it’s been my fail-safe cozy piece to throw on at the end of the day, or for the random October beach visit. Since we’ve still had the sprinkling of unseasonably warm weather, the bf and I took advantage of a late afternoon stroll along the coast, fully embracing the surf-side flair in the process. With much of our weekend plans revolving around the outdoors, I have no intentions of parting ways with this pullover anytime soon.

wow, that’s a really pretty beach, which is it? i used to have tons of pullovers like that as a kid- my parents were kind of hippies and let me chop on south street, philly. i love how you make it so pretty and feminine. now i want one again!

We had an excuse to spend some time up in Asbury Park this week so of course I had to spend some time on the beach even if it is October! It’s funny because the bf and I grew up together and I can remember him having one just like this in maroon colors in middle school he used to wear all the time and I like to tease him about it and now I’m obsessed with this one.
