The month of September seemed to wiz by.  Maybe that is partly because the weather hasn’t seemed to change much since August, rainy and 80s, making cooler weather favorites like velvet pretty impractical.  With October peeking around the corner I decided it was perfectly acceptable to mix in a little of the fleecy soft fabric.  This velvet print and lightweight stripes match was thrown together without hesitation, deeming them a natural pairing and much more fun than a plain, solid top; so long as everything from the waist down is kept understated.
