Bridal Drama

Last night the bf and I attended a bridal event in Philly.  No, I don’t have any announcements to make, and there are no plans for wedding bells in my future, we attended for purely business purposes.  You may not know this, but I actually design wedding invitations, amongst other things, as part of my 9 to 5, so we went to network and make potential connections with brides-to-be.  I hadn’t intended to get so dressed up, but I was having one of those “I don’t like anything in my closet” moments when I pulled out this dress that had been sitting in my closet, with tags still attached, for about 6 months.  I’d found it on the clearance rack for $5 with visions of cutting the inner layer short for some sheer-leg drama; so I grabbed my scissors and did just that.  Besides, where’s a more fitting venue for a little bit of drama than in a room full of brides.
