I couldn’t wait to wear my “new” dress yesterday even though it still needs a few adjustments. Since I knowingly bought it a bit over-sized (the tag says it’s a size 16 1/2), I’m not surprised that it could stand to be taken in a little. Honestly, I trust my tailor more than I trust myself with that task, so I temporarily secured a few discretely placed safety pins so I could still wear it in the meantime. Pre-deconstruction, the bf told me it looked like an “old lady dress,” but even he was impressed with the end result.
