Waiting for Oscar

The Academy Awards were last night, and all of my excitement and anticipation to see what the stars would wear on the red carpet made me want to dress up too.  After all, why should the celebrities get to have all of the fun?  I’d been holding onto this strapless beauty for spring, but decided it was warm enough yesterday to throw on a leather jacket and lace-up booties to enjoy a little drive with the windows down to one of my favorite lookout spots, before finally settling onto my couch to watch all of my favorites arrive on the red carpet.
