Summer Book Club

Since I’ve been resigned to staying off my feet these last few weeks, there’s only so many activities that can be accomplished with your leg propped up and only so many hours of Netflix a person can reasonably handle.  I’ve done some crafty projects like painting, some work from the laptop, and logged a lot of hours of puppy cuddles, but mostly I’ve been reading — a lot of reading.  (Which has also been a really good excuse to break in these super cute frames.)  And since summer is the perfect time to spend a lazy afternoon curled up with a good book by the pool or beach, I thought I’d start sharing some of the books I’ve finished recently that might be perfect to add to your summer tote.

Dangerous Girls (Abigail Haas)

A group of privileged teens head to Aruba for spring break and things turn deadly.  Some of it feels ripped from the headlines, but mostly it’s just a fun thriller.

Paper Towns (John Green)

If you’re one of those who likes to read the book before the movie (guilty), you’ll want to read this one before the Cara Delevingne starring summer release hits theaters.  It’s worth it, trust me.
